Seize the Birthday #274-Fall Items

Hello to all of you card makers and crafters, Barb here!

This is the time of year when we make cards for holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. But there is still time for Fall-themed cards. There are some wonderful colors and foods and flowers. Any one of these will do for this challenge.

*This is our last challenge for the year as we take off the month of December. So, let's make it a great one.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you today who are celebrating!

Our "Topping" option this time is...

If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just

stick with our usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!

The choice is yours!

Just remember to keep it a Birthday Theme!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the 'Neutral Colors Only' challenge! Although most of us are busy making Christmas cards, I'm sure there are plenty of birthdays occurring over the next two months - never hurts to add to the stash! And wonderful cards there were too - both with neutral and a lot of colors!

*Once again, though, please read the rules carefully. This time too, we had to disqualify participants since the rules were not all followed.

Seize the Birthday #273 Neutrals Only

Hello Crafters!

Ashwini here, and it's time for our next Topping here at Seize the Birthday. Before I get to the fabulous cards below, we have a new Surprise Party Guest joining us for November and January. She is no stranger to card making and someone perhaps you will know. Please help me in welcoming...

Here is a bit about her:

Hi everyone. I’m thrilled to be a Surprise Party Guest at Seize the Birthday.

I’ve been card-making for over 20 years. My style of cards is CAS (clean and simple), but over the past 10+ years, I have added in mixed media techniques and products. I love to play along with different card challenges that inspire me, including Seize the Birthday!!

You’ll find my cards on my blog, Stamping with Loll. I’m also part of the Group of Seven Cardmakers blog, a group of amazing crafters who are also my dear friends. Every month we try a new technique or product and share our experiences. It’s a LOT of fun!

Most days you’ll find me in my studio creating cards … it’s my happy place. As always, I have Jessie (my Cavalier Spaniel and constant companion) with me whenever I’m in my studio.

*We also have Jolanda joining us, she was the winner of our previous challenge using the Topping! Jolanda, we are happy to have you with us as well.

Our "Topping" option this time is to use Neutral Colors Only,

but you can choose to add metallics if you wish.

Neutral colors include white, black, grey, kraft, brown, cream, gold, and silver.
