Seize the Birthday #301-Anything that Flies

Hello Crafters,

This is Linda, and I am happy to be your host for today's challenge here at Seize the Birthday. 

I would like to invite you to make a card with anything that flies on it: butterflies, birds, hot air balloons, planes, etc.  We would love you to join us.  There is a lot of inspiration from our Special Guests and Design Team to get you started.

Before we get to the cards below, I want to introduce you to our next Surprise Party Guest. We have Leslie Miller joining us for the next two months.  Welcome Leslie, we're so happy to have you alongside us!

Here is a little bit about her! 

    

Hello, Leslie here, and honored to be the Surprise Party Guest at Seize the Birthday for March and April!  I'm writing to you from the big toy box I call my craft room, still one of my favorite places on earth after almost three decades.  Hobbies come and go, but my love of card making never dims.  Outside the craft room I enjoy too many things to mention, but top of the list are my human family and friends, and Golden Retriever, Sophie.  Sophie and The Great Outdoors keep me active and healthy here on the southern Oregon coast.

Along with Leslie, we have GerJanne joining us; she won the previous challenge using the Topping.  Happy to have you both with us! 

Now, let's get to the oodles of inspiration below!

If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!

Seize the Birthday #300 - No Stamping

 Hello Crafters,

It's Jules here and as host of today's challenge 

I had the honor of choosing our Topping. 

 

I like to think of Toppings as self-challenges however choosing

ones that are popular with the crafting community can be a 

challenge in and of itself.  

I'm putting myself out on a limb today to challenge you all to

 create a birthday card with NO stamping...including the sentiment.  

So put away your clear and rubber stamps for this one, folks. 

 Foiling and Better Pressing (I've made that a verb apparently) are allowed.

 Before we get to the inspiration below I want to thank Amanda Mertz for being such a wonderful Surprise Party Guest for the past two months we have enjoyed having you in our lineup! Thanks for everything!  Along with Amanda today we have Chris Dring joining us today.  She was our latest winner using our Topping.  Chris, we are happy to have you with us as well!
