Hello Crafters! Glenda here.  Thanks for joining us! For those of us in the northern hemisphere, I hope you are having a great summer. I was trying to be extra creative with my topping this week - different but not too hard!

Our "Topping" option this time is...make a square card (any size) with a non-white base

If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!

Seize the Birthday #330-One or More Numbers

Hello Crafters, it's Cathy here and I'm hosting this fortnight's challenge with a numbers theme. You can use one or more, whether stamped, die-cut, stenciled, or embossed, and just have fun with it!

Before we get to the fabulous inspiration below, we have a new Surprise Party Guest joining us for the next two months.  I would like to welcome Lynda from Looopy Loo Cards! Lynda, we are happy you are here.

Here is a bit about her! 

I have been making cards for quite a few years and have dabbled in most techniques, but find that my current loves are die-cutting and embossing folders. I am recently retired after over 40 years on the NHS, and have no trouble filling in my days. I am excited and happy to be the Surprise Party Guest for the next couple of months, and excited to see what you all create with the upcoming themes.

We also have Fran Wing joining us as she was the overall winner from our last challenge using the Topping.  Welcome to you, Fran! We are glad to have you!

Seize the Birthday #329-Blue, Pink and Yellow

Hello Crafters, Barb here, and it is my turn to be the host for this next challenge here at Seize the Birthday. We have a topping for you to use, but if you would rather just make a birthday-themed card, that will work as well. 

For my challenge, I have picked the colors of Blue, Pink, and Yellow. You can do a pale or more dramatic look with brighter colors, but you must use all three colors.  You can include the neutrals, like black and white, but NO gold or silver for this one. 

   

Before I go, I would like to take a moment and thank Kathy P for being with us the past two months as our Surprise Party Guest.  We have certainly enjoyed our time with you and hope you have enjoyed yourself too!  Take care and hope to see you in the gallery soon.
