Seize the Birthday #286-Add a Star

Hello Crafters, I hope you are having a great day! It is time for our next Topping here at Seize the Birthday. Cathy has chosen an easy one for us and hopefully you too. Remember, our topping is optional and we would love for you to use it, but if you would rather you can play with our Anything Goes Birthday. Your choice!

Along with our Surprise Party Guest Julia Aston, we have Chris Dring joining us today, as she was the overall winner from our last challenge using our Topping. We are delighted to have you both designing with us!

Seize the Birthday #285-Double Stenciling

Hello crafters! It is time again for another card challenge at Seize the Birthday and this time I am your host, me Barb! I have chosen a technique that I had fun with, and I hope you will too. You may have seen it on a video, that is where I saw it first.

Let me explain it to you. When I say Double Stenciling, I would like you to use a stencil and before you pick it up, place another one over the top and fill in it.

Just to be clear, I don't mean that you should use just two stencils.

Before we get to the fantastic cards below I want to welcome our next Surprise Party Guest for the next two months. We have Julia Aston joining us. Welcome, Julia. We are happy to have you!

Here is a bit about her:

I have always loved doing all kinds of crafts with stamping becoming my most favorite after I attended an SU home party many years ago and found out I could create without being good at drawing! I am happily retired for the past 6 years so now I can stamp during the day as well as late into the night! I live in MA with my husband and have one son who lives with his wife in MD with two dogs and a cat. I LOVE the friendliness of the stamping community and have been on many design teams over the years making friends all over the world! Thank you for inviting me to join the Seize the Birthday community for these two months!
