Seize the Birthday #297-Use Something New

Hello Crafters, Happy New Year, and welcome to our first challenge for 2025!

It's Cathy here hosting this round and I thought it would be fun to start off by using some new goodies that may be in your stash from Christmas or even earlier!

Before we get to the cards below, I want to introduce you to our next Surprise Party Guest. We have Amanda Mertz joining us for the next two months.  Welcome Amanda, we're happy to have you alongside us!

Here is a little bit about her! 

I'm Amanda Mertz and I live in Glen Allen, Virginia, USA (just outside of Richmond) with my husband, 2 teen boys, and 2 labrador retrievers.  I'm thrilled to be joining Seize the Birthday design team as a Party Guest for the next two months! I've been stamping since 2003 and have been having a blast with it ever since!  I love participating in challenges so that I have a starting point to make me stay focused when I have soooooo many different products to choose from!  I use any reason I can to stay in my stamp room but when I do venture out I love to walk with my dogs, read, and try to complete all the NY Times daily puzzles.

Along with Amanda, we have Valerie and Denise joining us, they both were winners of previous challenges.  Happy to have you ladies designing with us too!

If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!

Challenge Rules:

1. It must be a Birthday project, however, our topping is optional.

2. Please add a direct link to your blog or online gallery. 

4. Please include one of our graphics and link back to our blog or IG account.

5. You may combine this challenge with up to 4 other challenges. 

6. When using digital images they must have been colored by hand.

7. The winner using our topping will be invited to be a guest on a future challenge.
