Seize the Birthday Challenge #1-Feminine Birthday Sketch
Welcome to Seize the Birthday! This is our first challenge! We are working on creating both masculine and feminine birthday cards this year! As this is the first sketch of the month, please use our sketch and create a girly birthday card.
This week we are excited to be sponsored by Whimsy and Stars Studio!!!

Whimsy and Stars Studio is a cheery art studio, home of illustrator Mabelle Ramirez Ortiz. I discovered stamping back in 1996 while working on a children’s book illustration project and I totally fell in love with stamping. In 1998 I began licensing my rubber stamp designs and in 2010 I expanded my designs into digital stamps. Now I have a collection of limited edition rubber stamps sets directly from my studio along with digis. I also have a collection of clear stamps (photopolymer resin) available from The Craft's Meow.

1. You must use the sketch and make a BIRTHDAY card. (this week we are looking for a feminine birthday card)
2. Please add a direct link to your blog or to an online gallery.
3. Feel free to use other challenges or for a stamp release, it doesn't matter, as long as you add this challenge link and sketch design to your post.
4. Any offensive posts or cards that do not follow the guidelines will be removed out of courtesy to fellow bloggers and the design team.
5. As always, please have fun and make the sketch your own!

Linky Party Winner, Honourable Mentions and EXCITING News!
This week we took our time, visiting all the submissions from last week's Linky Party that ended last night at midnight! Wow, so many amazing cards to choose from, you made our decision a difficult one!
Our winner who "Took the Cake" is:
We loved Kim's clean lines and creative display of the main image. Her colouring is very pretty and what could be more festive than cakes?!!! Congratulations Kim, we will contact you soon about being a Guest Designer for us in the New Year! We hope you will display your badge with pride!
There were other special birthday creations which caught our eye! Congratulations to the following ladies who received our first "Birthday Honours"! (These are in no particular order.) We hope you will display your badge with pride.
